I’m a writer, educator, and performer working in Los Angeles. I attended the Bennington Writing Seminars where I received my MFA in Nonfiction Writing. I’m currently receiving my masters at the Pepperdine School of Education to teach English literature in LA secondary schools. I’m passionate about teaching adolescents how to read great literature and write essays which reflect an authentic engagement with art, themselves, and their world.

I’m currently working on my first book of coming-of-age, tragi-comic essays, Confessions of a Plus-One. It’s about my adventures on the sidelines of celebrity culture as my husband thrives as a Hollywood journalist and I try (and succeed?) to discover where I belong. (Think David Sedaris meets Eve Babitz.) I love to perform my work around venues in Los Angeles and for my family members.
